So I’ve been all over town today with my nails looking like this:

I have my 7-year-old daughter to thank for my new look. I never paint my fingernails, only my toenails (and even that gets dicey). But the other day her friend was over, and when 7-year-olds get ahold of nail polish, this is the kind of thing that happens.
When will I get to take this off without offending her? Not sure. I think soon since 1) she took hers off tonight, and 2) my husband just mentioned that he’d been wondering what the hell happened to me. He said he was pretty sure that whoever gave me that French manicure totally ripped me off.
Good thing I didn’t leave her a big tip.
Gotta love pint-sized beauty therapists. My daughter is a huge fan of nail polish too but I have been fortunate enough to escape her beauty treatments for a week or two!

You're lucky! But I'll bet that's not going to last (wah ha ha…).;) Thanks for stopping by, del!
The beauty isn't in the design, it's the memory of your daughter painting your nails that is priceless.
No truer words, Tami. I have a lot of great memories of my daughter — and son! — for which I can thank nail polish.
Great memories for sure! I remember a lovely set of jewelry that my daughter made for me and I wore it to class one day and my students kept asking me "Why are you wearing paperclips??"

I guess I'm lucky- my daughter is 8 and she covers most of the nail. She did my toes last night- there's like 6 colors, stickers, and crackle polish. Looks great.
As pint size manicures go I would say it is rather cute, at least it is not all over the finger as well as the nails.

Hilarious! I think it is the most memorable manicure you will ever get.
